Andrea Greene , 33, is cared for by Chris and Emily Buchanan. She is a remarkable lady.! After beginning life facing the challenge of leukemia, Andrea eventually survived and thrived.

Following graduation from Mitchell high School, she began work at Mountain Opportunity Center in Bakersville. Andrea loves music, especially Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, and the Spice Girls. Andrea enjoys numerous crafting activities, such as Diamond Art. She puts her creative crafting skills to use each season as she decorates her bedroom bulletin board with a festive, seasonal theme.

In previous years, Andrea has participated in Special Olympics track and field, aquatics, and equestrian events.
